About

My research interests come mainly from the area of High Performance Computing. Recently, my work has been focused mainly on the subjects of System Benchmarking, Performance Measurement, Compiler Analysis and Optimization, MPI, and Accelerators. Currently, I am a Research Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and I am affiliated with the Innovative Computing Laboratory.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware, on the subject of Compiler Optimizations for HPC. I received an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Crete, both on Computer Networks, and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Crete.
